Meet Elliott, a charming King Charles/Shih Tzu mix with a heart full of love and a wagging tail ready to bring joy to your home! This adorable 12-week-old male weighs a petite 6.9 lbs and is a healthy, happy pup. While his adult weight is estimated to be between 18-35 lbs, this is not a guarantee as his parents' size is unknown. Elliott is a smart and busy boy, already mastering puppy stairs and working diligently on his potty training with pee pads. He's a typical puppy who loves teething toys, soft toys, and, of course, a stray human shoe! Elliott is currently tan and black, and it's unsure if the black tips will grow out.
Ideal Home
Elliott would love a home with another small, similarly sized dog to share his playtime. He's also looking for a family that can dedicate ample time to him, ideally with someone who works from home or is away for only a few hours. Because he's small and can be quick, a home with respectful children 12+ and agile, active adults who can keep a watchful eye is ideal. Homes must be within an hour of the St. Petersburg, FL area for post-adoption veterinary care.

Elliott is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and has started on heartworm and flea prevention. His small bladder means he'll need patience with potty training.
Training & Support
Elliott is learning quickly and loves to explore, so providing him with age-appropriate chew toys and supervising him outdoors for anything he might pick up is important. Puppy-proofing your home is essential for his safety. Consistent patience and time will be key to his continued potty training success.
