Taz

Taz is an 8-pound black Pomeranian mix with a big personality and an even bigger opinion about airplanes. This neutered little guy settled in quickly with his foster family's resident dog crew of two Chihuahuas and a Yorkie. He gets along very well with other small dogs, sharing meals, naps, and plenty of zoomies in the yard. Taz is house-trained and thrives on a routine, readily heading outside with his canine companions to take care of business. He has an abundance of energy and delights in chasing birds, squirrels, deer, and airplanes. His foster home's location under a flight path means Taz takes his self-appointed runway security duties very seriously, racing across the yard with the conviction that one day he'll catch one!

Inside, Taz reveals his softer side, settling down in the evenings to relax beside his foster mom. He adores toys, especially squeaky ones and balls, carefully tucking his favorites into his bed at night. Treats are also a big hit, making training a breeze.

Ideal Home

Taz would do best in a home with older children only, preferably teenagers 15 and up, as small children can make him nervous and uncomfortable.

Taz is neutered.

Training & Support

Taz is learning household manners, including waiting patiently for a release word before eating. He's trying his best with this rule, though he finds it unfair.
