Benson

Meet Benson, a sweet and quiet boy with a heart of gold! Benson's journey started rough; he was found after being hit by a car in Texas and underwent a leg amputation. Through it all, he's learned that humans can be wonderful, especially when treats and air conditioning are involved!

Benson is a gentle soul who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is completely unfazed by cats. He's a pro at car rides, is perfectly behaved during vet visits, and is house-trained. True to his Great Pyrenees heritage, Benson is more of an observer than a cuddler. He's content to simply be in the same room, keeping an eye on things, and enjoying your company without needing constant attention.

Ideal Home

Benson would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home. He would do best with children over 12 who understand how to give dogs their space. A home with minimal stairs would be ideal to ensure his long-term comfort as a tripod.

Ongoing Health

Benson is a tripod, having undergone a leg amputation. He gets around just fine and is a lower-energy guy who prefers a more relaxed lifestyle.

Training & Support

Benson is house-trained and a gentleman in most situations. He's not looking for high-octane adventures, but rather a peaceful existence and a comfy place to rest.
