This handsome 78 lb American Staffordshire Terrier mix is a master of enthusiasm, treating every morning like a lottery win and every car ride like a trip to Disneyland. He's a social butterfly who sees everyone as a friend he hasn't licked yet, and he's the ultimate shadow, ready to join you from the kitchen to the couch for all your binge-watching sessions. Pax is a World Class Snuggler who might try to convince you he's small enough for your lap, but he's also a sturdy boy perfect for extra-large hugs.
Ideal Home
Pax is a versatile guy who will thrive just about anywhere, from a spacious fenced yard to a cozy apartment. He's best suited for a home with children 10 and up due to his size and occasional clumsiness. He'd also love a low to medium energy canine sibling who enjoys playing tag and synchronized naps. While Pax loves being with his people, he has a very mild fear of missing out, so a home where he can be part of the action will be ideal.

Training & Support
Pax is a star student and a total plug-and-play companion! He is already crate and potty trained and has been a great big brother to the teens in his foster home. He is also doing well on his leash. Pax is respectful of other dogs, and he's curious and calm around cats. A trial sleepover with a resident kitty will be conducted to ensure they can become best buds. He loves his toys, especially plush ones, and proudly carries them around to show them off.

Transportation
Pax is located in our Texas facility. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up locations in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
