About Buster

🌟 Meet Buster — a sweet, talkative boy who’s ready for a fresh start 🌟

Buster was found alone on the north end of Bucerías, struggling with mange and clearly not doing well. A kind volunteer scooped him up and kept him safe until he could reach our vet. He arrived anemic, with very low platelets, but after treatment, good food, and lots of love, this handsome Lab‑mix boy has made a beautiful recovery. 🐾 Male, mixed breed (Lab appearance) — 16kg 🐾 Born September 2022 🐾 Treated for mange, anemia, and low platelets 🐾 Neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm‑negative 🐾 Playful, talkative, and loves people 🐾 Good with other dogs — gives a polite warning if someone gets in his face 🐾 Sweet, affectionate, and a great medium size

✨ Buster is a gentle, loving pup who craves affection and connection. Now that he’s healed, he’s ready for a home where he’ll finally be cherished.

📝 How to Apply Submit an application here 👉 www.adogsnewlife.org/adopt

We’ll review your application and may contact you for more info or a home check.

Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You’ll meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

⚠️ It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during May and June, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.

We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border — this remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward. 🐾✈️❤️

💡 Please follow us on Instagram & Facebook and share our mission. The shelter is full — every adoption saves lives.
