Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg, a handsome 1.5-year-old, 82 lb fluffy pit bull mix with a heart of gold, is ready to find his forever home! He's a smart, sensitive, and goofy boy who might remind you of a Muppet with his charming looks. Snoop came to us when his previous family faced landlord issues, and his sweet nature, even when nervous at the shelter, instantly won us over. He's described as a loving companion who thrives on attention and playtime, especially when tennis balls are involved.

Ideal Home

Snoop would be happiest in a low-traffic home where he can meet new people at his own pace. He'd love a family that enjoys regular walks and has the patience to help him adjust to visitors. He's doing great with older, dog-savvy children (10+). He also gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, even sharing his beloved tennis balls without any fuss! Unfortunately, cats are a bit too fascinating for Snoop, so a cat-free home is a must.

Snoop is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

This intelligent pup already knows commands like sit, stay, paw, and down, and he takes treats gently. He's also a pro on the leash once he's on it! Snoop can get a little jumpy when excited, but he's easily redirected with another command. He also has a knack for wanting to investigate any delicious-smelling food, but he's learning to sit when he's caught (or reminded!). He is house-trained and crate-trained, settling in without a peep when it's time to recharge.
