About Drama

Drama is a 35 lb, 2 year old American Bully with a giant head and tiny body. After a tough start, he's now happy, healthy, and ready to find his forever home. Drama has a fun mix of energy levels – he'll demand attention or playtime, get the zoomies, and love to run and jump, but he tires out quickly, especially on warm days. He's great with people and did wonderfully at a child's birthday party with kids of all ages. We recommend kids 8+ as he can get a little rowdy when playing with toys. Drama is currently living with other dogs and a cat in foster care and would do well with other pets or as an only pet. When meeting new dogs, slow introductions and keeping him leashed at first will help him make new friends. He usually coexists well with the cat but has occasionally tried to chase. Drama absolutely loves walks and gets excited at the mere thought of going out. He may pull at first, but his leash skills improve as the walk goes on. He's good in the car and is okay in the crate, though he can get a little yappy if he knows you're nearby. He sometimes sleeps in the crate but has recently been enjoying sleeping at the foot of the bed. Drama is mostly housebroken, and accidents can be avoided with supervision. He's affectionate and loves cuddles and scratches but also has an independent side. Drama will bark to let you know what he wants, whether it's playtime, help getting on the couch, food, or a walk. He adores his toys and will jump, run, and even entertain himself. Drama is a goofy boy who is sure to make you laugh!

Ideal Home

Drama would do well with other pets or as an only pet. We recommend children 8+ due to his sometimes rowdy play style.

Ongoing Health

Drama has a medical condition where his penis remains out. Surgery was attempted but not successful, and the vet opted to leave it as is. This condition does not bother him.

Training & Support

Drama is mostly housebroken, but supervision is recommended to prevent accidents. He can sometimes come in "hot" when meeting new dogs, so slow introductions and using a leash initially will help him make friends. He has occasionally tried to chase the cat, so continued guidance may be needed. He can get a little yappy in the crate if he knows you're nearby.
