Miss Toots

Meet Miss Toots — a 3-year-old, 9-pound Chihuahua–Poodle mix with a heart full of love and the snuggle skills of a seasoned pro! She's a total snuggle bug who adores laps and presses her face to yours when she cuddles. With medium-to-low energy, she has adorable little bursts of playfulness. Miss Toots loves treats and eats well. She's wonderful with all dogs and will use a gentle growl and space-giving when needed to protect her space. She transitioned easily into her foster home and has been a joy from day one!

Ideal Home

Miss Toots would love a home where someone is around most of the time. She'd also love to have another friendly dog to play with and a fenced yard for safe exploring and zoomies.

Ongoing Health

Miss Toots is almost fully potty trained and does best with a consistent routine. She's crate trained and sleeps happily in her crate at night, though she'd absolutely prefer to curl up in your bed if you'll let her! She has great house manners and can be left alone without a crate as well. She rides wonderfully in the car, enjoys her walks, and is doing great with her leash training.

Training & Support

Miss Toots loves everyone she meets and would likely do well with respectful children, though she hasn’t met any yet. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet.

• Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention.

Transporation

We assist with coordinating transportation by both land and air whenever feasible.
