Gordo is a 69 lb. American Bully mix with a heart of gold and a face that melts into affection. He's a gentle, thoughtful, and quietly charming boy who adores baby talk and long belly rubs. Gordo is a relaxed, low-energy companion who enjoys a good game of tug-of-war but is also happy to entertain himself. He's shown friendly confidence with other dogs and prefers to observe rather than be the center of attention in playgroups. While he handles pushy dogs well by disengaging, he would do best with dogs his size or larger, ideally a calm, aloof female.
Ideal Home
Gordo would thrive in a home with an experienced owner who is familiar with bully breeds and can provide steady, confident guidance. He would do best with older children. He is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Gordo is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. He has no known health conditions.
Training & Support
Gordo has basic leash skills but can be strong due to his size, requiring a confident handler. He is eager to please and responds well to positive reinforcement and food motivation, making him a great candidate for continued training. He is working on controlling his goofy side and learning that walks are a team activity.
