Azure

I'm Azure, but my foster parents lovingly call me Zury, which I'm told means "beautiful and strength," and I've got plenty of both! I'm 6 months old and have bravely overcome Parvo, so now I'm healthy, full of life, and ready to find my forever family! I’m a smart cookie and already know "come," "sit," "down," and "leave it." I'm also potty trained, though I'll need a little time to get the hang of your schedule and potty spots, so a few accidents might happen as we learn each other.

Ideal Home

I need a vibrant household with another very active, younger dog who loves to play and can keep up with my energy! A canine companion who doesn't mind my playful kisses, tug-of-war sessions, and zoomies is a must. I also love to snuggle up with my doggy siblings at bedtime. Because I'm a vocal girl and like to make my opinions known, an apartment isn't the best fit for me. I’ll also need a family who is home more often than not, as I'm working through some kennel anxiety with my foster parents. Kids aged 10 and up are ideal, as I'm a persistent jumper and they'll be able to handle my enthusiasm. If you have cats, they’ll need to be dog-savvy, as I tend to try and herd and nip at them, which they aren’t too fond of.

Ongoing Health

I'm happy to report that I've made a full recovery from Parvo and am now healthy and ready for my forever home!

Training & Support

I'm a super smart girl who already knows several commands. I'm working on my jumping and kennel anxiety with my foster family, and I'll need a devoted family committed to continuing my training and socialization with people, other dogs, and in public.
