Boone, believed to be a Heeler mix, is a high-energy boy looking for a place to snuggle up next to his people! He loves to play fetch, both inside and out, and will eagerly bring the toy back to you, drop it at your feet, and sit to wait for the next throw. Boone would prefer to be the king of his castle and isn't a huge fan of being kenneled for extended periods, doing best with a family that is home most of the time or that he can accompany. He will go into his kennel to eat and when his foster family leaves, but gets antsy after a few hours. Boone currently sleeps in bed with his foster family, as he loves to be held and truly believes he's a lap dog. He's a gem in the car, enjoying naps, and is doing well with potty training. Boone knows basic commands and is eager to please. Because he is young, he will need consistency and continued training to ensure he grows into the best boy! If you are ready for this extremely loyal, adorable boy, he will make a great family companion! Boone has a special adoption fee to help him find a great home.
