Poppy Lou the Panda Bear Sweetheart

Poppy Lou is a true sweetheart with a face that looks like a cuddly panda bear! Her floppy ears and gentle expression are utterly captivating, and her personality is just as wonderful as her looks. She's approximately 8 months old, weighs around 35 lbs, and we believe she may be a Lab/Pittie mix. Poppy is a gentle, affectionate soul who loves to be near her people and soak up all the cuddles. She's already doing wonderfully in a foster home with children aged 3 to 16, and her sweet nature shines through with them. She's also dog-friendly and gets along beautifully with her foster siblings, enjoying playful wrestling matches and cozy companionship. Poppy can be a little shy when meeting new people or in new environments, but with a little time and reassurance, her loving and affectionate personality will quickly blossom.

Ideal Home

Poppy would be happiest in a home with a backyard where she can continue to explore, play, and grow at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Poppy is up to date on all vetting and has been spayed, microchipped, and is on monthly heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Poppy is crate trained, potty trained, walks fairly well on leash, and knows how to sit. She is treat-motivated and takes treats very gently. Continued practice as she grows will help build her confidence.

• The adoption fee is $1,000.00 and includes all vetting, transport, a Martingale collar, and a health certificate.

Transporation

Poppy Lou is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. There is an $87 surcharge for transport.
