Kamoku & Kasumi

Kamoku is a 14-year-old, 17 lb Dachshund mix, and Kasumi is a 5-year-old, 38 lb (goal weight 22 lbs) Cairn Terrier mix. These two sweethearts were surrendered to us when their beloved owner's health declined, leaving them without a home. They arrived with a decade's worth of cherished holiday photos, a testament to the deep bond they shared with their mom and each other. When separated, Kamoku lost his appetite, and Kasumi's distress was palpable. They are truly a bonded pair and must be adopted together. When they are together, they are mellow, affectionate, and coexist peacefully with other pets and children.

Ideal Home

Kamoku and Kasumi would love a home where they can stay together and continue to share their quiet affection. They have a history of getting along well with kids, cats, and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Kasumi is currently working towards a goal weight of 22 lbs.

Kamoku and Kasumi are described as mellow and affectionate when together. They are house-trained.
