Meet Cayenne, a two-year-old Lab who is ready to find her forever family! She's a wonderfully energetic pup who loves a good game of fetch and is highly food-motivated, making her a joy to train. Cayenne was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is now a "Little Hero" at Pura Sanguine, even donating blood to help other animals in need while she waits for her perfect match. She's looking for a home where she can bring endless joy, loyalty, and tail wags. Cayenne can be adopted with her sister Carolina or as a solo companion.
Ideal Home
Cayenne would thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
Ongoing Health
Cayenne is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has also been spayed, tested for heartworm, and is on flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Cayenne is eager to please and excels with food-motivated training. She has received socialization through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, and has been working on leash training and basic commands. Potential adopters should understand that, like all rescue dogs, she will benefit from continued training and patience.

Transportation
Cayenne is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN, and OH. AZ transport is coming soon. Pick-up locations and times are predetermined. Adoption and transportation fees range from $100-500. Private custom transport routes are available upon request, with the adopter responsible for associated costs. Texas adopters have a flat rate fee of $250 for in-state transport. Transport vehicles are equipped with air conditioning and attendants providing 24-hour care. Adopters can follow their pet's journey via a private Facebook event page. An adoption coordinator will help find the closest transport pick-up location. For pick-ups at our Angleton, TX location, there is a $75 fee which includes all vetting.
