Glover is a charming 8-year-old, 16 lb gentleman who looks like a Miniature Pinscher/Rat Terrier mix, though his breed and age are our best guess. He's a retired gentleman who has truly mastered the art of being easy company. Glover settles in quickly, makes himself at home almost immediately, and is perfectly content just being part of whatever you're doing. He's a tiny toy collector and professional sidekick who loves a good game of fetch, especially with his favorite toys. Despite being fairly low energy, he has a playful spark that comes alive when toys are involved. Glover is naturally curious and has a way of making himself comfortable in new spaces right away. He handled new people, new dogs, and new environments with an easygoing attitude, greeting everyone politely and sharing affection and toys nicely with other dogs. He patiently waited his turn for treats and confidently explored unfamiliar surroundings.
Ideal Home
Glover is adaptable enough to thrive in many different types of homes, including apartment living. He seems most important to him is having a person nearby, a few toys, and a peaceful place to call his own. He prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and make his own decisions about where he'd like to go, so he objects to being picked up. He would do well with calm, dog-savvy cats who appreciate a respectful housemate, but he is not looking for a wrestling partner or a zoomie buddy.
Ongoing Health
Glover appears to have some age-related changes to his hearing and eyesight, but he seems completely unbothered by it. He navigates new spaces and furniture with confidence.
Training & Support
Glover is described as incredibly low maintenance. After a little exploring, he is perfectly happy to find a comfortable spot and relax.

Glover is currently being fostered in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
