Scott

Meet Scott! Scott is a big, happy boy who's about 5-6 years old and weighs around 90 lbs. He's believed to be a mix of Labrador and Weimaraner, but whatever his mix, he's 100% love! Scott was found as a stray and unfortunately, no one came to claim him. Because of this, we're still getting to know this wonderful guy, but he's been nothing but friendly and a joy to be around from the start. He absolutely loves meeting new people and enjoys a good game of fetch. Scott is also a big fan of his comfy dog bed and is dreaming of a cozy home to call his own.

Ideal Home

Scott would thrive in a quiet household where he can comfortably recover from his heartworm treatment. He needs a home where he can be kept calm and avoid strenuous activities like running, swimming, or hiking for about 6-8 months.

Ongoing Health

Scott tested positive for heartworm and is currently undergoing treatment. This means he needs a calm environment to allow his heart to heal. He is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines.

Training & Support

Scott appears to be housetrained and keeps his kennel clean. He also knows basic commands like "Sit," "Shake," and "Down." We recommend a refresher course on potty training to help him adjust to a new schedule. He also loves car rides!
