Lucy

Lucy is a gentle and friendly 40-pound lab mix, about 1 1/2 years old, who likely has some Rhodesian Ridgeback in her. She's an awesome dog who gets along great with everyone and loves to follow her foster mom around with a wagging tail. Lucy and her sister Ethel were found as strays in a rural part of Mississippi. When the Wags director learned that a neighbor was planning to poison the dogs, she rushed out to help. The girls settled in immediately and became favorites at the Rescue. Ethel has been adopted and is doing great, and now it's sweet Lucy's turn! She loves toys and bones and is a very mellow and laid-back pup.

Transporation

Lucy is currently in Mississippi and is ready to come to the northeast on Saturday, July 17th via transport. We often have dogs travel up the transport route or to areas with available volunteers. We are always in need of foster homes in the northeast!
