RUE

Meet Rue, a young, female Pit Bull Terrier mix who is proof that the best things in life are worth waiting for! Rue is a sweet, gentle soul who is still learning that people are safe. When you first meet her, she might be a little shy and run the other way, but she warms up quickly. She absolutely adores other dogs; they give her confidence and keep her company. Rue is excellent at reading other dogs' cues, enjoys playing with them, and knows when to give them space. She's a total play bug who loves toys, balls, and a good game of tug. After playtime, she just wants to curl up with her favorite human. She's already potty trained and crate trained, so she's got the basics down.

Ideal Home

Rue would thrive in a home where she can continue to build confidence with people. She is very social with other dogs and enjoys their company.

Ongoing Health

Rue is spayed and vaccinated. She takes medicine well.

Training & Support

Rue is learning to walk on a leash and is making progress every day, but she would benefit from continued leash training. She is food and treat motivated, which will be a great asset in her training journey.
