Sandy thrives in a home with at least one other dog, as their companionship helps build her confidence. She needs a patient family who will give her time to adjust to new surroundings and a secure, fenced yard for safe exploration. She does best with older, respectful children who understand her need for space.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is a healthy girl who has received all her vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection.

Training & Support

Sandy is fully crate trained and 100% potty trained. She walks beautifully on a leash and is non-reactive to common distractions. While not treat-motivated by food, she can't resist Colby Jack cheese, which is perfect for administering her monthly flea medication. She is a quiet dog who rarely barks. Sandy enjoys affection on her own terms, showing her desire for pets with slow movements and cherishing chin scratches, head rubs, and chest massages.

Sandy is located in the Greater Houston area. Texas adopters must pick up from Houston. Transport is available for an additional $87 surcharge.
