Meet Denzel and Cameron!
Denzel and Cameron are a bonded pair who found themselves in our care after their owner sadly passed away. Denzel, a sweet fawn-colored pup, is estimated to be around 8 years old, though he might be a bit older, and weighs about 6.5 pounds. Cameron, a handsome rust-colored boy, is believed to be around 14 years old and tips the scale at about 20 pounds. As you can imagine, these two are inseparable – Cameron even dislikes having a door between himself and Denzel! It is an absolute must that they find a home together.
Ideal Home
These two would do best in an adult-only home or a home with older, respectful children who understand how to interact with small senior dogs. Denzel can be a bit grumpy at times and has snapped at a neighbor in the past, so a calm environment will be best for him.
Ongoing Health
Cameron recently had a large growth removed from his leg. The vet suspected it was soft tissue osteosarcoma, but unfortunately, the growth was misplaced before a biopsy could be performed. Cameron also struggles with his knees, finding it difficult to navigate the step from his foster mom's porch to the yard, but he's tackled it with impressive determination! Additionally, X-rays show Cameron has an enlarged heart and is currently on medication. Both boys are neutered, have been vetted, are heartworm negative, and are on monthly heartworm prevention. They will be microchipped before adoption.
