Prince Boy is a handsome young fellow, about 2 to 2.5 years old and weighing between 58-64 pounds. He was surrendered to a high-kill shelter due to no fault of his own. Thankfully, he was rescued and has since undergone a full heartworm treatment (he is no longer positive!) and surgery to correct an entropion eye issue, so he's now healthier than ever! He is up-to-date on all his shots and has been a joy to have in his foster home. He's crate trained, potty trained, and knows commands like "sit," "come," and "heel." He's also treat and food motivated but not food aggressive. Prince Boy rides well in the car and enjoys walks, but he would not be a good apartment dog due to his medium energy level. He used to hump other dogs, but since his neutering, he is now very playful and gets along well with dogs of all sizes.
Ideal Home
Prince Boy needs a fenced yard where he can play and explore. He would do well with a family, a couple, or a single person who will include him in their daily adventures. While he enjoys playing with other dogs and would be happy with a canine companion, it's not a requirement. He is a great boy who would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of love and attention.
Ongoing Health
Prince Boy is heartworm negative and has had successful surgery to correct an entropion eye issue. He is up-to-date on all his vaccinations.
Training & Support
Prince Boy is already crate trained and potty trained. He knows basic commands and is eager to please, especially when treats are involved! He has learned to curb his previous humping behavior since being neutered and is now a very playful and well-adjusted companion.

Transportation
Prince Boy is currently in a foster home in Ft. Worth, TX. Transport can be arranged after the adoption is finalized for an additional fee, or you may arrange your own transport. The transport company used is K9 Delivery LLC. Please check their routes and pickup locations before committing to ensure you can make the drive.
