Meet Veda! This perfectly playful puppy approaches life with an enthusiastic, "Wait... we can PLAY in that too?!" Whether it's a mud puddle, a new dog friend, or couch cuddles afterward, Veda believes every moment is an opportunity for fun. She's pure sunshine wrapped in velvet fur, with giant, mismatched ears that add to her unique charm. One ear stands tall, as if reaching for the stars, while the other flops dramatically, giving her a perpetually surprised and adorable look.
Veda is the kind of pup who makes everything exciting. She doesn't just walk through life; she launches herself into it with uncontainable joy. During her assessment, she discovered a flooded muddy yard and declared it the greatest place on earth, zooming, splashing, and inviting all her doggy friends to join her muddy water party. She emerged from the fun transformed from a white puppy to a brown one, and couldn't have been prouder!
Ideal Home
Veda would absolutely LOVE an adventurous home that enjoys hiking, beach days, camping trips, lake weekends, backyard sprinkler fun, and long walks exploring new places. She's the kind of dog who wants to experience life WITH her people. She thrives when involved in everyday life and would be particularly happy with access to water, as she genuinely believes puddles are a personality trait. While she could do well in an apartment with an active family, she'll truly thrive where she gets to explore and play. She has met a child briefly and was sweet and excited, but due to her playful puppy nature and tendency to jump when excited, we recommend older or dog-savvy children while she continues to learn manners.
Ongoing Health
Veda is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments and flea prevention. She will be spayed and receive a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She also receives a heartworm test and treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Veda is treat-motivated, which will make training and continued growth a rewarding experience for her future family. She is currently in a foster home where she is thriving and showing more of her beautiful personality daily.

Transportation
Veda is currently in a foster home in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, fun facts, and a private Facebook event page to connect with fellow adopters and fosters. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
