Meet John Dwayne, a handsome 45 lb Doberman mix with an estimated birthday of June 7, 2023. Dwayne's journey began with a rough start, having been abandoned in a crate at a park. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now ready to leave his past behind and find the loving family he truly deserves.
Despite his past experiences, Dwayne is an incredibly sweet and social boy who adores other dogs. He enjoys playing with both puppies and adult dogs, making him a fantastic candidate for a home with a canine companion. He's already kennel and potty trained, which makes him an easy addition for a family looking for a fun and loving companion. Dwayne has a gentle, playful personality and is eager to learn what it feels like to be safe, loved, and home for good. We are hoping Dwayne's next chapter is the one he has always deserved.

Transportation
Dwayne is located in Houston, TX. Out-of-state transportation is included in the adoption fee. Pickup locations for transported dogs may vary and could include nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track their dog's transport using the Life360 app and will receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for transport tracking.
