Patty

Hi there, my name is Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy with a heart-shaped nose and a short, happy tail (even though it's a little shorter than usual, my personality is full-sized!). I can be a bit shy and timid when I first meet new people or try new things, but I warm up super quickly and am eager to learn. My foster mom says I'm a great snuggler and I love to burrow under blankets, especially since it's a bit chilly up here compared to my home state of Texas. I'm a quiet sleeper and do well in my kennel at night.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for someone who can see past my initial shyness and appreciate the amazing pup I am! My ideal home would involve lots of walks, cuddles, and someone patient to show me the ropes. I get along well with people of all ages, including children, and I've also had positive experiences with cats and bigger dogs, learning from their cues.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy pup, and while I'm missing part of my tail, it doesn't slow me down one bit!

Training & Support

I'm working hard on potty training with frequent breaks and am doing well! I also need a little help with leash manners and polite greetings, as I sometimes jump up to say hello. I'm very treat-motivated and eager to please, so with some patient guidance and consistent teaching, I'm sure I'll master these skills. I also love to play with my toys, especially chew toys and bones!
