A little about them

Trifle is a sweet, affectionate, high-energy mixed-breed dog with a goofy personality and one speed: go! At 49.9 pounds, Trifle is looking for an active home ready to keep up with her enthusiasm and help channel it into good behavior.

Ideal Home

Trifle is friendly with humans and loves attention, though she may jump up for affection. Because of her size, energy level, jumping, and mouthiness, she would do best in a home without children. Her interactions with other dogs are still being evaluated, so a proper introduction would be important for any potential dog sibling.

She needs plenty of exercise, enrichment, structure, and positive-reinforcement training. A home comfortable tossing toys and treats rather than taking them directly would be the best fit.

Training & Support

Trifle is extremely food motivated and already knows how to sit and shake, though she is still working on responding consistently. She can be mouthy with treats and toys, so tossing treats on the ground is recommended instead of hand-feeding. She escalates quickly with toys and should be encouraged to chase tossed toys rather than having people reach in to take them. She has had no issues going in or out of her kennel.
