Independence "Indie" (Available 07/29/2026)

Meet Independence, or "Indie" as we affectionately call her! Indie is an adorable 8-week-old Lab/Border Collie mix puppy who, along with her siblings, came to us as an owner surrender. She's just starting to explore the world and is eager to find her forever family.

Ideal Home

Indie's ideal home is one where she won't be left alone for long periods, especially during her crucial puppy months. A family committed to consistent training, socialization, and house-training will help her thrive. She'll need frequent potty breaks, as often as every 3-4 hours initially, so someone who can be home a lot during the day would be purrfect!

Ongoing Health

Indie will be adopted out on a spay/neuter contract. This means her new family will either bring her back to us for her spay/neuter surgery between 6-9 months of age (at no cost) or have the procedure done with their own veterinarian and provide us with proof of completion.

Training & Support

As a young puppy, Indie is still learning. She's not yet house-trained and doesn't know basic commands. She'll benefit greatly from patience, positive reinforcement, and attending a puppy obedience class. Continued socialization is also key to helping her grow into a well-adjusted dog.
