Lacey

Lacey is a sweet 1-2 year old Pit Bull terrier mix with a heart of gold. She came to us as a stray, thankfully rescued from a dangerous situation where she was being poisoned by neighbors. A good samaritan took her in, but sadly, her original owners never returned. Despite her tough start, Lacey is a resilient and loving girl. She's crate trained and generally gets along well with other dogs and people.

Ideal Home

Lacey is friendly with people and most other dogs. She may be reactive to small dogs that are consistently barking at her, but she plays well with smaller dogs without issue. We haven't tested her with cats or children.

Ongoing Health

Lacey is fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. She is pending her spay surgery.

Training & Support

Lacey is crate trained and a good girl. Some guidance on managing her interactions with consistently barking small dogs might be helpful.

• The adoption fee is $400.00, which includes spay/neuter (if over 3 months), rabies, Bordetella, DHPP, and microchip. This fee also covers transport to your area.
• An application is not an approval to adopt.
• We are a small, foster-based rescue and strive to find the best match for both you and the dog.

Transporation

Lacey is currently located in McAllen, Texas. She can be transported to the East Coast, primarily serving the NJ, NY, and PA areas, via private transporter once adopted. Please reach out for a full list of drop-off locations.
