Blue

Hi there! My name is Blue, and I'm a handsome, approximately 70-pound, blue and white pit bull with a heart full of love to give. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, and I'm proud to say I'm house, crate, and leash trained – though I'm still working on my leash manners. I'm a loyal, playful, and affectionate boy who absolutely adores cuddling and giving kisses. My smarts and eagerness to please make learning new tricks a breeze, and I love to engage with my toys. I have a good amount of energy and enthusiasm, so I'm looking for a home that can provide me with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep my tail wagging.

Ideal Home

I'd do best with older children who are gentle and understand how to interact with a dog my size. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of small children as they can be a bit too rambunctious for me. I'm also dog-selective, meaning I prefer a slow and proper introduction to make sure we're a good match, or I'd be happiest as the only dog in the home. I am definitely not a cat person!

I'm currently healthy, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also neutered.

Training & Support

I'm house, crate, and leash trained, but I could use a little more practice with leash walking. I'm very eager to please and love learning, so continued positive reinforcement training will help me continue to be a well-behaved companion.
