Buffy Plunkette

Buffy is an approximately 8-year-old, 18-pound sweetheart with a big personality! She's a playful pup who loves her balls and little stuffies, and she's even known to get the zoomies, despite her age! Buffy is crate-trained and not destructive when her humans are around. She adores her primary person and will be your shadow. She's also generally fine with people coming and going from the house.

Ideal Home

Buffy would do best in a home without young children. She can be protective of her favorite toys and bed, and may growl or nip if disturbed while resting or with a cherished item.

Ongoing Health

Buffy has a cleft palate that has not impacted her breathing, eating, or playing. She eats small kibble and treats due to her petite mouth. Some teeth were removed prior to her rescue, and her remaining teeth are healthy. She has a tendency to gain weight, so a scheduled feeding routine may be beneficial.

Training & Support

Buffy is crate-trained and will only have accidents if left alone for extended periods outside of her crate. She sleeps on the bed without issues. She does well on a leash, though she doesn't require extensive exercise and often entertains herself with zoomies.

• Reference checks and a home visit are part of the process.
• Landlord/condo board permission is required for apartment/condo dwellers.
• Once approved, you will receive an adoption contract and details about the remaining adoption fee.
• Payment of the adoption fee and return of the signed contract are required before pickup.

Buffy is located in New England. Transportation costs are included to the Northeast; please ask for more details.
