Clarence is a handsome and smart guy who is eager to please and loves his walks! He can be a little shy with new people and can be protective of his resources, so he'll need a strong leader to help him shine. With proper introductions, patience, and of course, treats, Clarence can warm up quickly and reveal his goofy, wiggly, happy personality. He's looking for an experienced owner who can help him gain confidence and feel secure. Clarence does well with cats and is good with older children. He is selective with other dogs, generally preferring females but can get along with some males if they aren't overly dominant or energetic.

Ideal Home

Clarence would thrive in a home with experienced adopters who can provide confident leadership and help him build trust. Due to his resource guarding tendencies, he should not live with young children.

Clarence is up to date on all his vaccines and has been neutered.
