Agape

Agape is a truly magnanimous soul, a testament to the power of love and resilience. He was found discarded on the side of a busy road, with a thick, studded collar choking him. This abandonment left him confused and scared, struggling to survive as he'd apparently lived his whole life on a chain, unaware of how to forage for food or even be a beloved pet. Despite his past, upon receiving gentle hands and food, Agape melted, offering soft kisses as a thank you. He loves all humans and other dogs, a lover not a fighter. Playful and full of adoration, connection, and affection, he represents hope, forgiveness, and all things good. He is a sheer delight, easy-going, and desperately longing for a human to love him for a lifetime. Agape is most deserving and very affectionate. As of November 2023, he is estimated to be about 3 years old. He desperately needs to leave rescue, where shelter life means many dogs are vying for limited attention and positive reinforcement.

Ideal Home

Agape loves all humans and gets along with other dogs. He has been noted to be good with children aged 8 and up, as well as younger children under 8.

Agape is neutered and vaccinated.
