Wanda is a charming female Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, approximately 2-3 years old and weighing around 38 lbs. She was found wandering the streets, malnourished and covered in ticks and fleas, clearly in need of a safe haven. Despite her rough start, Wanda has blossomed into an energetic, playful, and loving companion. She's social with adults and ready to shower her new family with affection.
Ideal Home
Wanda would thrive in an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures and daily walks. She needs a home with a fenced backyard and a family experienced with her breed. Due to her interactions with larger dogs, it's best if she's the only dog in the home. Families with a deep understanding of rescued animals and their need for patience, protection, and education will be a perfect match.
Ongoing Health
Wanda has undergone a comprehensive health protocol including: spay/neuter certificate, two DHPPI vaccines, a rabies vaccine, a Bordetella vaccine, deworming, a 4DX test and certificate, a negative heartworm test certificate, and she is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworms. She also has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Wanda is not yet house-trained. Her foster family has been busy rehabilitating her health and emotions, making house-training a challenge with so many animals needing care. She requires a family with high tolerance and patience, and experience in dog behavior and training will be beneficial.
