King is a handsome Lab mix with a fun, fluffy tail that makes him truly stand out! He's an energetic and active boy, around 6-8 years old and weighing about 55 lbs. Despite his zest for life, he's also sweet, quiet, and gentle, making him a wonderful companion. King is friendly with people, kids, and other dogs, and he's ready to embrace an active lifestyle with his new family. He's a smart boy with good common sense, and he's not a big barker, though he will alert you to anything unusual. While he's not overly affectionate, his gentle face rubs are sure to melt your heart. King enjoys meals and treats but doesn't have a high food or prey drive. He is crate and house-trained, letting you know when he needs to go out. Thankfully, he shows no signs of storm or separation anxiety.

King would thrive in an active home with a family who can provide him with regular activity and enrichment. He needs a yard to enjoy his energetic nature.

Ongoing Health

King was found as a stray and had been hit by a car. He has physical scars from this incident, but they do not impact his ability to live a full and happy life. He is fully functioning and has no other known health concerns.
