My name is Kevin, and I'm a little over a year old. I've been through a lot already, including parvo, but none of it has dimmed my happy-go-lucky spirit! I'm still a bit of a goofy guy and haven't quite realized I'm not a tiny pup, often flopping around like one, despite my 75-pound frame. I'm a pro at being house and kennel trained, and I walk pretty nicely on a leash.

Ideal Home

I'd do best in a home with a securely fenced backyard where I can safely enjoy playing fetch. Because I haven't had much experience with other dogs yet due to my health challenges, we'd need to discuss introductions to any resident pups. I may also do well with older, respectful children.

Ongoing Health

I'll need to continue with regular vet visits, and I'll likely benefit from joint supplements and potentially pain medication. You'd never know I might need them, though, as I never seem to act like I'm in pain.

Training & Support

I'm already house and kennel trained and a good leash walker. My main need is a loving family who understands my ongoing health requirements.

• My adoption fee is $75, which includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.
• We do adopt out of state with vet references and a video home check. The adopter is responsible for coming to get me and returning me if the adoption doesn't work out.

I am located in Springfield, MO. We adopt out of state and adopters are responsible for transportation.
