Blaze

Meet Blaze! This sweet, active pup is approximately 1 year old and weighs about 16 lbs. Blaze was surrendered due to landlord issues but is now thriving in his foster home, where he's working hard on his house training, crate training, and leash walking. He's a social butterfly who enjoys the company of other dogs and his humans, though he can be a bit vocal when first meeting new friends. While he might show his teeth when initially introduced to other dogs or cats, it's more of an excited greeting than aggression. Blaze has plenty of energy for adventures but also loves to snuggle up at the end of the day.

Ideal Home

Blaze would do well in a home with children 10 years and older, cats, and other calm pups. He's not suited for apartment living and would prefer a home with a yard.

Training & Support

Blaze is currently working on house training, crate training, and leash walking. He can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but he warms up quickly. He is vocal when meeting and playing with other animals and can be protective of his space when they are behind a fence or crate.

Transporation

Blaze is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. He will be available for adoption in N Dartmouth on or around July 17th.
