Snoopy is a handsome young pup who needs a little bit of help to gain socialization and be a brave boy. He was previously at PACC and spent nearly a year in a home. He did well with other dogs his size, was reportedly house trained, and was well-behaved when left home alone. While Snoopy struggles in the shelter, his former family described him as an affectionate, playful dog who loves toys and being near his trusted humans. During time in a foster home, Snoopy was great on leash, warmed up quickly to his foster family, and loved to play! His foster described him as a medium-energy boy who was calm, polite, sweet, and smart. He was house-trained and well-behaved when left home alone and loved all toys, but especially his ball! Volunteers at the shelter have shared that Snoopy was very happy on walks and walked mostly with a loose leash. He would give impromptu sits, hoping for a cookie, and took treats very gently. He also spontaneously offered a handshake! Snoopy had a great time running around and chasing his kennelmate in the play yard, and it's an absolute joy to watch him. He is shy and more confident with his kennelmate by his side. Snoopy absolutely loves fetching a ball and would repeat this all day long if you have the time. He sits for treats and takes them gently. He was super into watching the leaves tumble by and is a very sweet boy who sat nicely for treats. Snoopy shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
