Bodhi

Bodhi is a handsome, playful 50-pound Black Mouth Cur mix looking for a loving forever home! He was found abandoned and scared, unfamiliar with basic comforts like doors or indoor living. Despite his difficult start, Bodhi has shown incredible resilience and is now a housebroken, crate-trained, and leash-walking pro! He’s a smart, loyal, and athletic boy who thrives on positive reinforcement. Once Bodhi feels safe, his goofy, affectionate, and playful personality truly shines. He makes adorable "growl-purr" noises when happy and loves to chase toys. He's food-motivated, making training a breeze. Bodhi enjoys his outdoor adventures, has plenty of energy, and even likes to swim! He currently lives happily with two other dogs.

Ideal Home

Bodhi would thrive in an active home that provides both structure and adventure. He would do best in a cat-free environment as he enjoys chasing them.

Bodhi is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Bodhi is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. He can be a little skittish at first due to his past trauma, but he is not aggressive, just cautious until he feels comfortable. His food motivation makes him a joy to train!
