Milo

Milo is an approximately 4-year-old, 18-20lb Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix, affectionately known as a "taco terrier." He's a little guy who, despite a tough past, is proving to be incredibly resilient and ready for a loving home. Milo was found in a trash can, neglected, but since being in our care, he's shown us his true sweet nature. He's easy to handle, calm enough for photos, and enjoys hanging out with volunteers. While he's understandably timid and shy in the shelter environment, he has displayed no aggression, such as snapping or lunging. This little guy just needs a chance to show you how wonderful he can be. He loves to stay warm, takes his yard patrol duties very seriously, and enjoys destroying his toys. Milo has experience living with other animals, including a black lab and possibly cats, and we always recommend proper meet-and-greets to ensure compatibility.

Ideal Home

Milo would thrive in a calm, understanding home. We are currently recommending older, respectful children for his new family, as this will help him continue to build confidence and succeed.

Ongoing Health

Milo is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is neutered. He's ready to go home!

Training & Support

Milo is still working on building his confidence in new environments. He will benefit from a patient and loving family who can provide him with a safe space to decompress and learn to trust. Continued positive reinforcement and a consistent routine will set him up for success.
