Meet Petunia! This adorable 11-month-old Lab mix puppy is a sweet, social girl who loves people, dogs, kids, and being part of an active family. Currently thriving in her foster home with multiple dogs, a cat, and young children, Petunia has proven to be a loving, adaptable pup who fits right into busy family life. She comes from a region with a high number of homeless pets, and by adopting her, you're saving her life and opening up space for another dog in need. Petunia is playful, curious, and affectionate, and has shown to be wonderful with other dogs and gentle with the young children in her foster home. She enjoys being part of the family's activities, whether it's playing in the yard or cuddling up for affection.

Petunia would thrive in a home that is ready for the fun and adventure of raising a puppy, with a family that enjoys spending time together. She would enjoy having a canine sibling but would also be okay as an only dog.
Ongoing Health
All vetting is up to date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Petunia is still young and will need a family committed to training, socialization, and the dedication puppyhood requires. Consistent routine, structure, boundaries, and proper socialization are essential. Families are required to crate train their puppy immediately upon arrival.

Transportation
Petunia is currently fostered in the Indianapolis, IN area. Transport is available nationwide via our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
