Patty

Hi there! My name is Patty, and I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy just looking for my forever home. My foster mom says she loves my heart-shaped nose and my short little tail. I may be missing a bit of my tail, but I promise I'm not missing any personality! I came all the way from Texas, and while I love to snuggle up in a blanket next to my people, especially when it's chilly, I'm ready for my own cozy spot. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and I'm doing a great job with potty training with frequent potty breaks.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for someone who can see past my initial shyness and understand that I just need a little time to warm up. I'd love someone who can take me on long walks, teach me new things, and cuddle with me. I've been around people of all ages, including children, and I love everyone! I also get along well with other dogs, learning from them and enjoying playtime in the yard. While I was a little scared of the cat at first, he seems to like me, and I think we could be friends. I do love to jump up to say hello, so someone who can help me learn not to do that would be wonderful.

Training & Support

I'm still working on learning to walk politely on a leash and not jump up when I greet people, but I'm a quick learner, especially when treats are involved! I love to play with toys, especially chew toys. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I'm still figuring out the fun in that.
