Knuckles

Hey there! I'm Knuckles, but my shelter family affectionately calls me Knucks. I'm a 1.5-year-old Mastiff mix with a heart as big as my paws and a personality to match. My journey to finding my forever home hasn't been the easiest. I was once abandoned, tied up outside overnight. It took me a while to rebuild trust, and I'm so grateful to my dedicated shelter staff for their patience and understanding. They've been instrumental in helping me learn that some people truly do stick around. I'm working with a professional trainer to channel my enthusiasm, and I'm making great progress every day. What truly makes me happy is a good game of tug-of-war – it's my favorite way to play and bond!

A home that understands my past and can offer gentle guidance would be wonderful. I thrive on positive reinforcement and love a good game of tug.

Ongoing Health

I'm up to date on all my vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested, and neutered. I'm all set on the health front!

Training & Support

I'm working with a trainer to help me manage my energy and intensity. Tug-of-war is my love language, and with a strong toy and some patience, I'm a very happy boy.
