Katy

Meet Katy! This sweet, 4-year-old, 49 lb spayed female is the epitome of a velcro dog, overflowing with tail wags, loyalty, and affection. Katy's favorite place is right beside her person, happily shadowing you whether you're lounging, working, or out for a walk. She enjoys playing with other dogs and is wonderful with children. Sadly, Katy came to us from a difficult situation where she was crated and lacked proper care, leading to stress scratching. Once in rescue, it was clear she didn't have mange, and with treatment, flea and tick prevention, and a safe environment, her beautiful coat has regrown and her true, loving personality has blossomed. Despite her past, Katy's tail still wags, and she continues to hope for a loving family. She is current on vaccinations and will receive heartworm treatment prior to adoption.
