Sir Scruffy

I should definitely be renamed Sir Snuggles, I think! Yes, I am a little bit of a scruff ball, but snuggling is my super power. But for now, I'm Sir Scruffy, and I'm a handsome, curious 12-pound super senior gentleman with the spunk of a dog half my age. Age is definitely just a number in my book - I'm cheerful, playful and absolutely darling from nose to tail.

I found myself needing a new home when my previous owner's health began to deteriorate. It was heartbreaking for me, but you have to keep a stiff upper lip and weather the storms in life I always say. I have shown off my true personality in my foster home, and they think I'm the best boy. I'm an old soul that loves everyone. I had some grade-school age kids come by one day, and that was nothing but a pleasure for me. My foster says I don't hear very well anymore, but heck, think about it. I don't have problems with storms or fireworks! That's a way to look at life with a glass half full, right?

Ideal Home

I'd love a new family where someone is at home with me more so that we can have a lot of snuggling quality time together.

Training & Support

I'm kennel trained and sleep in one at night - unless you'd like for me to sleep with you - you know, keep you safe and warm? I don't bark except when I'm first tucked into my kennel at night, but then I settle and drift off into dreamland. I walk beautifully on leash.
