Meet Paco: Your New 16-Pound Shadow!
Hi there! My name is Paco, and I am a sweet senior gentleman looking for my ultimate cuddle partner. At 16 pounds, I am the perfect, compact size to fit right into your lap-and your heart! I am a true "Velcro dog," which means my favorite place in the whole wide world is wherever you are. If you need a little shadow to follow you around, keep your feet warm, and shower you with affection, I'm your guy. My perfect morning starts with a quick potty break, followed immediately by finding a cozy sunbeam to snooze in. I am a typical low-maintenance dachshund who values a good nap above all else. If you need to run errands or go for a stroll, you can pop me right into a chest sling!
Ideal Home
Paco is a social, easygoing old man who gets along beautifully with everyone. He does great with other dogs and he is wonderful with kids, too! His compatibility with cats is unknown.
Ongoing Health
Paco is missing most of his teeth, which just gives him a cute, sideways smile. This means he prefers a soft food diet to keep his belly happy. All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
Training & Support
Paco seems to be potty trained, but like most dachshunds, requires routine to avoid accidents. He is, however, excellently crate trained.
