Meet Otis, a resilient and confident doodle searching for his forever home! This sweet boy was rescued after enduring extreme neglect, having spent his entire life chained up outside. He arrived with an embedded collar that required surgery, but he's now healed and ready for a fresh start. Otis is a sturdy 60 lbs and stands 24 inches tall. He's already been neutered and is eager to find a loving family.

Ideal Home

Otis would thrive in a calm home where he can feel safe and secure. He needs a patient adopter who understands his past and can provide him with space to feel grounded as he adjusts to change. A secure, fenced yard is a must for him to run and play, and he absolutely loves hiking! Otis is best suited for a home that offers structure and a loving, consistent environment. He is not ideal for homes with young children or chaotic, constantly changing settings, and he prefers calmer dog companions.

Otis underwent surgery to remove an embedded collar. He has since healed and is ready for a new beginning.

Training & Support

Otis needs a patient adopter to help him learn to trust and to show him what real love is. He thrives on respect and routine. Given his past, he may sometimes need space to feel grounded. He is highly food-motivated and will do anything for a treat!
