Quartz aka Miss Piggy

Quartz, affectionately known as Miss Piggy, is a 2.5-year-old sweetheart whose transformation has been nothing short of incredible. When she first came to our rescue, Quartz was in terrible condition. She was significantly overweight, and her skin was raw and painfully irritated. Thanks to the love and dedication of her foster family, she's made an amazing recovery. Her skin has completely healed, and she's lost over 20 pounds, revealing the happy, healthy dog she was always meant to be. Quartz truly is the total package. She loves to cuddle just as much as she loves to play, walks beautifully on a leash, and has never met a stranger. She greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a happy heart. She currently lives with three small dogs and does wonderfully with them. She's also cat friendly, making her an excellent fit for many different types of homes. Quartz has worked so hard to get her second chance. Now all she needs is a forever family to love her as much as she'll love them.

Ideal Home

Quartz would thrive in a home where she can continue to be showered with love and attention. She is dog-friendly and cat-friendly, and does wonderfully with small dogs.

Ongoing Health

Quartz has made a remarkable recovery from her previous health issues. Her skin has completely healed, and she has successfully lost over 20 pounds. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Quartz walks beautifully on a leash and is house-trained. She is affectionate and playful, and loves to cuddle.
