Freckles, wiggles, and a happy little hop in her step – that's Pippi Longstocking! This petite, bright-eyed, and spunky girl lives life like it's a playground she's just discovered. She's estimated to be about 2 years old, weighs 37 lbs, and is a happy, medium-sized girl with energy to spare and a heart that is wide open. Pippi's enthusiasm is infectious; when she's loved on, she gets almost giddy with wiggles and bursts of undeniable happiness that will make you giggle every single time!
Ideal Home
Pippi would thrive with an active family who enjoys movement, play, and a dog who greets each day like it's a celebration. While she's friendly with other dogs, she does best with confident dogs, particularly confident females. She's not the best fit for a dog that is a pushover or lacks the confidence to set boundaries. Her response to cats was mixed and inconclusive, so we'd love to see her in a home setting with a cat or two to get a full understanding of her approach to a feline friend.
Ongoing Health
Pippi is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also been spayed, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Pippi has great basic leash manners and responds nicely to correction. She walks into her crate without fuss. She benefits from clear boundaries and structure to help channel her happy sparkle.

Transporation
Pippi is located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
