Blaze is a beautiful Alaskan Malamute, about two years old, who weighs 72 pounds. He was found wandering the streets of Harris County, TX, and taken to a crowded shelter. Despite his rough start, Blaze has a big heart and a trusting nature. He’s eager to find a family who will give him a lifetime of love and commitment, ensuring he'll never be just a number again.

Blaze is up to date on all vaccines and neutered. He tested positive for heartworm but has begun slow-kill treatment and is on the path to recovery.
