Ernie

Ernie is a delightful 1½-year-old Hound mix who arrived at the shelter as a stray alongside his buddy Bert. From the moment they arrived, it was clear these boys had been well cared for. Ernie has a sweet personality and great manners to match! He's already mastered "sit" and "shake," has a nice medium energy level, and enjoys both playtime and relaxing with his people. Ernie has a friendly, easygoing personality and has done well with other dogs. We also think Ernie would do great in a home with kids thanks to his gentle and well-rounded temperament. At around 1½ years old, Ernie still has plenty of fun and adventure ahead of him, but he already possesses the manners and personality that make him an excellent companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and well-rounded dog, Ernie might be the perfect fit for your family.
