Atlas Moose the Floppy Eared Goober

Atlas Moose is a floppy-eared, tail-wagging bundle of joy who will have you laughing from the moment you meet him. He's a happy, affectionate, and goofy 5-month-old puppy, weighing around 42 lbs. We suspect he's a German Shepherd and Bloodhound mix, with a nose that can detect a treat from miles away and ears that are as big as his personality! Atlas is still growing into his large paws and is as cuddly as a baby moose.

He's a playful pup who loves to chase balls and knows how to play fetch. Atlas is also a big fan of treats, which makes him an eager learner for continued training. He gets along well with adult dogs, and while he can be a bit boisterous at first, he respects their cues. He would do well as an only dog or with a playful, medium to large canine companion.

Training & Support

Atlas is currently working on crate training and potty training. He's a fast learner, especially with food motivation, and will benefit from continued consistency and routine as he grows.

Transportation

Atlas is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. There is an $87 surcharge for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
